    Mouse Recall???
I'm finally back in San Diego for good and have been looking forward to going back to LLL for mice cause Petco's prices have been killing me in Mass.! Well, I went in to LLL today and they informed me there has been a huge mouse recall across the country from the two big distributors. They don't expect to get any in for a few weeks. What the heck?!? I am dying for suggestions on where to get frozen mice now. I have 6 snakes to feed, no post-graduation job yet, and just forked over a wad of cash at Petco that I can't afford to keep up.

I know you can get them online in bulk, but the cost of that is pretty staggering as well. I would love to breed my own, but no can do yet. My last resort is to just switch everyone to live, but I would really rather not.

    Thanks, guys!

I usually pick up a three month supply from a vendor at a local show. It's about $70 or so depending on who they are from. Maybe try that route next time there is a show near by.

I just bought 50 rats from Layne Labratories. They look good and are all the same size. Shipping was only about 30/35 bucks.

Find a live breeder and have them freeze for you. There should be a decent number of people down south who breed.
