    Did she slug out? :( + candling Qs
    My female blood laid 14 'eggs' (?!) after locking a fair amount a few months ago, her first time being bred. This is my first time breeding snakes so I'm not sure if they look right. I suck at candling gecko eggs (usually just wait for them start to degrade) and chicken eggs I'm questionable at best lol. They were laid Tues if I candle them today will it be fairly obvious whats going on? The anticaaaa

    Sorry to say, but they look like slugs to me.
    Candling isn't too difficult. Turn off the lights and put a flash light to the eggs. If there are veins, then the eggs are fertile. Nothing, then infertile.

    ugh. :( so disappointmented. I candled them and some looked like a couple had globs of dark stuff but no blood vessels. I guess variation in egg shell thickness? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/05/18/pe5avu9e.jpg

    First meal after long hiatus, some good news at least she's got her appetite back :) poor thing is so thin post slugging out.
