Male or female

Well I got a cl pick up and I can't tell if its a boy or a girl because of the scent glands. It looks like a female but I could be wrong and the sent glands be hemipenes but can u guys post pics of piping yours male and piping a female so I can tell. Thanks - Sam

I would suggest you either probe your snake or have an experienced person (maybe a local breeder) or a reptile vet help you sex it. Here's a probing video made by one of our fellow forum members. There are also countless videos on youtube. I personally can't pop, so I probe all my snakes.

popping is easy and a more accurate way to sex bps once you get the hang of it. I learned off of youtube videos and popping my own snakes.

when you pop males will have 2 red bumps on each side which are the hemipenes not fully popped. females you will not see the red bumbs only the small scent gland bumps.

Will a male have any white that isn't sperm plugs because she have a whit bumpe with 2 pink bumps in each side
