Ringer?

What exactly is a ringer? do you need to have the piebald gene in order to get a white spot on your bp? One of my champagnes that I hatched out has a little pink spot around his tail, I am not to sure if its a ringer or not.[IMG]http://i1272.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3d5e25ba.jpg[/IMG] The little guy is in deep shed right now BTW.

I'm not sure but ive been told 2 of my snakes have them lol. I always get them confused with paradox i think...

I would say that's a ringer.
And it doesn't have to be het pied. Although, many het pieds do have them.

Sure, a snake with a pure white area or ring typically near the tail end of the snake. They seem to pop up from time to time. In my experience, het pieds, fires, cinnamons and champagnes seem to have more of a chance of being ringers. The examples I posted are pretty typical ringers.
