Local stores that carry deli cups?
It sucks paying 10$ shipping for 9$ of deli cups xD
Would a local reptile store carry them or local store?

    Thanks (:

I used to get them at the deli of the local grocery store. They were happy to sell me the cups and lids without any potato salad in them.

Ask around places that use these things.

Somewhat off topic I am going to start breeding dubia roaches. I went around to local restaurants asking for egg flats and got a handful. When I went to the supermarket (a big chain called Hannaford) I asked for the store manager. I told him I was using them for arts and crafts with children (instead of saying I was going to breed roaches in them) and he took my name and number. He called yesterday to tell me that he spoke with the egg company and they're sending him a case of 500 for free and he's giving them to me outright. When I asked if he had to pay he said "we have a good rapport with the egg company and I told them we were donating them to kids" - free egg cartons!

The point is, network locally and you'll get what you want.

Yea just ask your local grocery store. If you know anyone that works there then they may be able to snag some for you.

I get my cardboard egg flats from work. Funny story: i told my friend what they were for and how i was breeding dubias to feed my T's. He got grossed out but then like a week later hes like "so how is your breeding going? Are the snakes eating the tarantulas?" I was like "um... What? No the roaches are to feed the tarantulas, and thats where the food chain stops lol..." He thought i was feeding T's to my snakes. When he realized i just had the T's as pets too he freaked out even more hahaha.

Anytime I need them, which is only like every 2 or 3 years, the supermarket deli near my house gives me a sleeve of 50 cups and a sleeve of 50 lids for $1 each. Try those places first, you'll definitely find a better deal.

There is a store chain around here called Gorden food service (GFS) that sells this kind of stuff. Not sure how widespread they are, but you can get all the deli cups you want by the case. It's open to the public, they are similiar to a sams club but more restuarant oriented. Maybe check restaurant supply places as an alternative.

I get my deli cups at the deli.

Just seems like the appropriate thing to do. LOL.

Actually, sometimes a Sam's club or resturant supply will also carry them, grocery stores or catering companies also.

I've never seen a reptile store offer them for sale.

I haven't been able to find mine local, although I'm considering asking our local grocery store and see if they will let me buy some off of them.
