I want to start a blog, but how?

I have spent the last hour trying to decipher this site and work out how to start a blog. I found the FAQ page, which told me a couple of things that just caused me to ask more questions... where is the side bar? What determines if I can start a blog?

I really want to start a blog to track the developments of my first breeding season.

I'm not sure about a "blog", but you can go to the Ball Pythons "BP Breeding" forum and just start a new thread. Then, add posts to your thread as you progress through the season.

Get a decent digital video camera, create a YouTube channel, start a video blog, and keep adding the videos to the same thread so people can follow along.

After a little digging it seems only "Gold" or "Platinum" members can use the site blog feature.

I should have remembered that. :oops:

Are you looking to have your own stand alone blog with your own personal URL (ex: snakedensblog.com) or did you simply want to just blog here on this site?
