    Aiding shedding for a juvenile
I have a half year old pinstripe that has been shedding for 3 days now. I have been oblivious to read that they need higher humidity when shedding, but as of now the humidity has been raised and he's worked through it. By the third day, hes mostly finished with shed, but still has a few bits in random places. I read the sticky on how to aid him, but my concern with that is how small he is, and also how naturally aggressive he is. I know for a fact that theres no chance he will run through a wash cloth for me. Not yet anyway. Any suggestions. Hes nearly a foot and a half, diameter of a half dollar. Well fed and round, just young.

Your snake seems a bit on the small side to me. Answering some questions and providing pics of your caging setup will help us help you. What are your temps and humidity usually? How are you heating and adding humidity?

Have you tried giving him a humid hide?

Then you have misunderstood. He is actually a large snake for his age. Not at the point of obesity, but well fed. eats a rat pup every week. The only old skin left remains on the very tip of his spine, and on one eye. I took him out, misted a towel and placed it in a 5 gallon bucket. then, i placed him in there and let him roam around on the towel. It worked, but there is a little skin left. I have kept the humidity at 70 for abbout an hour now, and hes back in. Its 90 degrees in the hide, and 82 degrees in the cool area with the water dish. in between there are some plants and foliage.

Never mind, I read that wrong. I thought it was a year and a half. Not half a year.

Many of my bps are on weanlings or small rats by 6 months, so he could still be hungry, hence his "aggressive" behavior.

Dude, just pick him up, grab a wash cloth and sorta gentle massage the areas.
Show him whos boss. My wife helped ours and he seemed to love it.
He was all about getting that skin off and would not venture off til it was all gone, cute as heck.
Don't take any guff from some apendageless animal ;)

Thats what I wanted to do, but i wasnt sure if it would hurt him. I thought if i put it on here, I'd sound barbaric :D. But he ended up shedding it all and looks fantastic. Thank you!
