    Can an AP cage overhang?
Can an Animal Plastics cage (2x4x1') overhang the table its on? Say it was an approx 16''x36'' table that can handle the weight, would that support it?

I've mostly had fish tanks in the past, and you absolutely can't do this. I don't think the cage would crack or anything, but I could see it eventually warping if kept this way.

    Is it safe or no?

    Thanks!

I would hope so since the cages overhang the stand that you can order for them from AP :P

My T10's over hang the 8" stands from AP by about 2-3 inches on each side and front/back so I don't think one over hanging a stand by 6" on each side will be a problem.

Mine overhangs the chest it's on without a problem. And the dimensions you posted sound fine :gj:

Wonderful guys, thanks! This means I don't have to go buying new furniture to move the damn thing out of my kitchen, haha.

I bought a solid wood TV stand with sweet front opening glass doors from Ikea a few years back and never really used it for it's intended purpose and my stacked T8s on it. They overhang each side about 3" and have not noticed and issues. No warping, sagging, or stability issues.
