    Lots of random snake deaths?
Has anyone else noticed a lot of snake's falling ill or unexpectedly dying lately?
Seems like ever since mid-winter I've heard many people lose a snake or many snakes at one time...... or they've had multiple snakes fall ill or had a snake fall ill all of a sudden.
I had a breeder friend who lost over 15 snakes within a week..... but he has over 100 snakes, so I'm sure it wasn't because of bad husbandry.. some of them were corns, and some were hots... in that blight he lost his breeding rattlesnake pair a few days apart from eachother. It's just so weird and unexplained! :confusd:
I had my healthy Mexican Black kingsnake pass away at the very end of winter, I think it was due to a twisted colon however....
It's just so bizare.... I have heard too many stories about "healthy snakes randomly passing away" and sometimes it happens overnight.
Could it be a virus? Or something in the feed? Or something they're born with? What could possibly turn a healthy snake into a dead snake with no warning??????
