Looks like I'm getting eggs...
I decided not to breed this season, since I just don't have the time, money, space, etc. But a few of the girls did lock up early in the season, before I made the decision to pass this year... and apparently at least one of them took, since I just found Nerissa (normal female) in a very obvious ovulation! I'm also suspicious about another normal girl, Delilah, who's been laying inverted & swollen for about a week. Too bad my Lesser & het Albino aren't showing signs, but that's just my luck for the normals to go instead. Nerissa locked with my pastel, btw, and Delilah with my black pastel. I'm sure they'll be beautiful, so I'm not really complaining or anything. ;)
Here's Nerissa today - won't her coloring go well with a pastel? This will be her second clutch, and she's around 5-6 years old.

A couple of weeks ago, when I correctly suspected she was "glowing."

And here's Delilah... whaddya think, gravid or not? She's small (right around 1500g) but 4 years old, and this would be her first clutch.

P.S. Don't worry, I can handle a clutch or two... and if need be, I can always take them to East Bay Vivarium for their $20 incubation service (they'll also buy the babies when they hatch). It just wasn't ideal for this season!
Re: Looks like I'm getting eggs...
Don't see why she couldn't sit on them for a while. Extra humidity wouldn't hurt.
Congrats!
