How do I tell the gender of my BP?
I have seen popping and "looking for spurs" and probing on youtube to sex your snake so I tried looking for spurs and I found two large spurs on either size of the hole area by their tails, is it safe to assume it is a male then? Thanks guys!

Females can have large spurs and males can have small spurs, so it's really not a reliable way to tell. You'll be best off having another experienced herper pop or probe your snake and show you how to do the same. Probing will be easiest if you're inexperienced and unsure, and there's a great topic stickied containing a video showing how to probe clearly. Ralph Davis and Justin Kobylka both have videos on sexing both ways. You'll need a probe kit to probe. Trying to pop if you've never done it before can be a bit risky - you're pushing internal organs out, it's easy to damage something if you've never done it before.

I would recommend finding an experienced breeder in your area familiar with sexing ball pythons and having them do it.

Ok, I'll have someone more experienced do it...

Where do you live? Chances are somebody on here lives close to you that can show you.

Sometimes you can take them into reptile shops or shows and people might be willing to do it for you and if you're not opposed to the charges, an experienced reptile vet would be able to sex it for you as well.

As for the spurs, never rely on them to tell the sex. It'd essentially be like looking at other people's legs and trying to judge their gender based on how much leg hair they have.
