    Two Funky Hatchlings
Hey everybody. Our first clutch ever hatched out, and through some trials and tribulations we got some beautiful snakes. Here's the most exciting part to me - 2 "normals" that look like yellow bellies to me. The matchup was multisired Normal female x Lesser male and Pinstripe male. So, no yellow belly present. Let me be clear. The mother was sold to us as a normal. She was a petsmart pickup. But, she has a clean belly and some nice flaming. But, let me tell you, if she is a yellow belly she aint the best specimen of the morph. However, I haven't seen many yellow bellies at her size. Maybe I don't know how they age? I wonder what's going on here? Please let me know what you think!

    Hatchling 1 (less impressive)

I don't think I'm seeing YB, they tend to look a bit more "blasted out" along the sides to me than that. Great colors on those babies though, I have a nice normal female who looked a lot like #1, and she's kept her color really well as she's grown. #2 definitely looks like he'd be neat to breed into an actual YB, or some other interesting morph.

Nothing looks funky enough for "incubation issue comments", IMO. They look like two nicely blushed/flamed normals.

Thanks for the comments so far. I think sometimes we see what we want to see, and yellow bellies are one of my favorite morphs, so I was very excited to see the flamed kiddos hatch!

Not seeing any incubation issue with this. Not seeing YB either but they do look nice. Nice healthy babies, good luck with them!

Thanks everyone. Glad to have these tiny hotties. I'm curious since I'm new at this...is there something about the flames that makes them different from YB flames? Or does the belly not look like a YB would? I would like a better idea of what to look for since I was thrown off by these 2.
