    Cresties reclassification?
I this might be kind of old but I just started seeing this pop up again. Is there going to be any changes made on all the caresheets and forums or is it too much of a hassle? what do you think about Crested geckos and their apparent sub-species getting changed back to Correlophus?

    Hi,

I haven't heard a single thing about it to be honest.

Who is pushing for the reclassification and why?

Has it been accepted widely or is it like that loon Hoser who renames everything and gets ignored?

The entire Rhacodactylus genus was revised last year, but acceptance and use of the new classifications have been slow among breeders and hobbyists. Here is a very good article about it: http://www.moonvalleyreptiles.com/ed...-rhacodactylus.

Very nice article thank you, Yea Doc I haven't seen too many articles pop up on forum communities only when I messing around on google. I just wonder how or when it would get intergrated in the mainstream hobby; forums, shows, etc. it seems like a lot of work renaming and changing websites.
