Yeah - it had better take a turn for the educated soon - pure alarmist schlock so far. Looks like they are only covering the scrubs and larger from the "OMGWTFBBQ! TEHSE THINGS W1LL K1LLZ0RZ U!! EEEK PWNT!" angle.

This show is creeping me out... one of the many many reasons I'd never keep a snake. *shivers*

Still - more people are killed by dogs pigs and even horses each year than constrictors - hell even feline-related diseases supposedly take a heavier toll.

At least they are covering SFE's (Stupid Feeding Errors) as a contributing factor.

The xray of the burm after eating the rabbit was kinda neat, and the video of the Afrock eating the gazelle was just freaky. The show definitely was more on the side of "OMG YOU'RE GONNA DIE" attitude.

EDIT: I wonder if they even tried to film people that have had nothing but good experiences with these giants? How much of a % are these attacks? Just got me thinking.

Yeah the xray was cool as hell I must admit. They shoot pretty fast and quick with the thermally imaged sight and the "stomach acids can eat through metal". I just worry how this might serve as panic fodder for people who want to throw (more) regulations/restrictions on what responsible folks can keep.

Definitely serves as a caveat though that some pets aren't to be kept lightly - and large constrictors are not a one-keeper routine.
