Matlock pythons

Can anyone give me some information on Matlock pythons? I cannot seem to find any up-to-date information and pictures would be especially appreciated.

They are a species of python that for some reason are well liked by senior citizens.

They are prone to prostate failure, rheumatoid arthritis, dementia, incontinence and like their food pre chewed.

They are nice snakes, but I think a Macklot's python may make a better pet. I'd look into them instead.

lol Yes Macklot pythons would be what I am looking for. Apparently this phone is older than I thought! :O

Thanks! I have been looking through Google quite a bit all morning.

I have a 2.0 Macklot's. They are Awesome snakes. Their feeding response is insane.

If you get them when they are young be prepared to get bitten a lot! My boys were demons for the first year then they chilled out.

After quite a bit of research I decided to make the trade. This is my new female cb macklot python.

It seemed like everyone who owned one loved them and said they were worth every bite. I didn't hear a bad thing about them.

She still needs a name but I think she is gorgeous and very tame so far.

she is beautiful. i just made a trade for a childrens python. i am rapidly becoming obssessed with the aussies. i love their silly faces, personality and their curiosity and willingness to be out in the open and not hide all the time.

Thanks everyone! Her name is Jellybean and she is so sweet. She ate a f/t pinkie without issue and was super sweet today when I had some handling time with her.

I also have fallen in love with the Aussies. I have a blue tongue skink, two carpet pythons, and now the macklot. I would love to add an olive python and a few others.
