Q about turtles

My brother wants to know about caring for Yellow Bellied Sliders. Does anybody own any?

My sister has Red Ear Sliders...I don't know how similar they are...but I do know aquatic turtles get a LOT bigger than people usually expect and require VERY large aquariums (the ideal is a sheltered, enclosed pond outdoors) to remain healthy. They're a lot of work.
