Just finished building my incubator and I'm running some tests with water bottles right now. I'm just curious if anyone has ever had any problems with glass shelves vs. wire shelves? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/04/23/na8yjage.jpg
I installed the fan as close to the back as I could to push the heat down the 3" gap in the back. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/04/23/dujahe8e.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/04/23/emy2yqe9.jpg
Any good or constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Kelly

I would worry about hot/cold spots with glass blocking the air flow in between the shelves.

Just about to mention that. Looks great by the way!

Looks good! The only thing I can think of when it comes to the glass shelves is that they may cut down on the circulation ??? Other than that, I don't see an issue with it.

Looks good, as the others mentioned I'd just check the temps between the shelves to see if the glass is causing any issues. :gj:

After running it fir a week and checking temps every day, the middle shelf is 2 degrees warmer. In going to have to switch to grating to keep temps consistent. Unless someone has an idea???

I think switching your shelves is going to be the easier and most effective solution.

I have a similar fridge I plan on turning into an incubator. What kind of fan did you use and did you just still a hole to run the wires out? Also, I have the same problem with the glass shelves. Let me know where you find the wire shelving if you don't mind

I used one of the two built in fans and relocated it.
For the wiring, I came up through the factory drain hole in the back corner.

You can use the closet shelving from Home Depot or Walmar for 20.00 or so and cut it to size. Works perfectly.
