    should i change a female's bedding when she is growing follicles? i heard some where that you shouldn't change it.

    I wouldn't change it just because of follicle growth. The type of bedding has no impact on that.

    Yeah, during breeding season I change the whole bedding + wash the entire tub after she lay's eggs, but before that I just spot clean :D.
