    outdoor playground?
Hello, pretty new here and had a a question.

My BP's love to explore and I was wanting to take them outside. My worry was one, they aren't active during the day because they are nocturnal ( I know that much lol ) and I don't want to disturb their sleeping patterns with handling when they should be resting. And two because I don't want them to get lost exploring.

My solution was to make a shallow box, plant some grass and a few shamrock to over grow the box 3x4 feet. I would like to put some plexiglass up to keep them from escaping and maybe a little tree to climb and a hide. I live in Arizona so it stays warm at night. I would put it up away from the ground so other animals wouldn't be able to get to it.

Would this stress the BP's out or would they take to it? Obviously they would be under supervision but it think they would like to get out to get some fresh air and get some different smells and experience the out doors responsibly.

Any input before I build a playground for my boys?

    Thanks!
    Jake

I bet it would just stress them out and cause you more harm than good. You need to remember that snakes aren't like dogs or cats that enjoy toys. They are quite happy in their own tanks, snug as a bug in a rub in their hides.

Well I kind of figured, just thought I would ask. I don't want to stress them out at all, I just figured if they had a taste of the outdoors they might be a bit happier. I just want them to be happy :)

They will be more than happy to just sit in their hides all day. :gj:
