Are angolans just as cool as balls?
I was lookin at a few pics of some angolans and thought they looked like balls in the face. How do they compare to balls? I do admit i havent done any reasearch, just was curious what id find here from other people with experience first.

I love Angolans and hope to have a pair one day.
Wild caught specimens have been uncommon for awhile due to the wars in the area they live but, the captive breed population is still growing.
They do seem to be every bit as docile as Balls and only a little bit longer.

I love my Angolans. Their care is similar to balls (I keep mine in my bp racks), they're great feeders (though can be a little shy to start but my two took to eating enthusiastically after settling in for ~2 weeks), and are very inquisitive (some compare their personalities to retics and I can somewhat agree: my male will come right out when I open his tub and my female is just as friendly though more laid back like BPs). Babies can be a little hissy but with handling they grow out of it.

    Here's my female, Mila:

    And my male, Meeko:
