Sexing / Something weird? * Graphic Maybe*

Ok so I decided to try and pop my ball python, I do not own probes and their is no local vet that can do it. I watched about 30 videos before trying and even when I did I was very gentle. I was told she is a female but want to be positive due to my friend buying a male for breeding. So I started and something came out, yellow stringy thing not much and it was very soft or so I think. Hopefully it is just poop? Also I could not get any hemepines to come out, so I am thinking female, but I also was very gentle as I did not want to hurt her. I was reading somewhere that they are hard to pop when they are adults? Here is a couple pics.

PLease tell me this is not a worm?

My first thought was sperm plug, though I'm no expert at popping/probing either.

Definitely looks like a sperm plug to me.

Try palpating your snake for hemipenes. If you put a piece of paper towel around your fingers, or pantyhose work best if you have them, it will be easier. It will reduce friction between your fingers and the snakes scales

Wow seems pretty easy. Going to have to go try this now. How accurate is this? I want to get the hang of popping and palpating for when I do eventually breed. Would be mortifying to sell the wrong gender. Thank you for posting!

Also what do males usually max out at size wise? Length? Weight?
