EDIT: your voice sounded pretty normal to me. The phone makes my voice sound deeper. I think it sounds higher on camera. Idk though, i've never made a video of my snakes before lol.
I actually helped him out with finding its head, shook it off with the feeding tongs. He ended up taking it like a proper snake. Lol he did get a pretty good mouthful of substrate though. Got it out by biting at his rock hide lol. Scraped it off his own gums.
I'm not sure exactly what phones and cameras do to my voice, or maybe I'm just delusional about the way I sound and the media is right. Haha.

I wish I could watch Dovah actually eat his rats, he always constricts them for like 10 mins, then drags them into his hide to eat ._.
I use coco fiber too, I love the way it looks, and it's safe for them to ingest and won't lodge into their gums like wood... the only thing I don't love about it though it that it likes to stick to everything!
All microphones make me sound like a guy! My voice gets super deep and I hate hearing myself D:
I usually fix that by adding music in the background of videos that don't really need the original sound :P
Oh my gosh, this is nothing-- way back when I resorted to a rat fuzzy instead of his normal mouse, this was when he was like 4 months old, he actually bit his own self twice after he coiled-- he was too excited and covered in rat-smell, so of course he mistook his back for the rat's face, lmao. He learned quick from that hahaha. No self-biting this time, so overall improvement in cognitive reasoning :P
Magnus never strays far from where he made the kill-strike. That's wasting time before he can get it in his belly :P
I do really like the cocofiber with the exception of feeding-time. But that's just because I'm overprotective and don't like to see him stressed out. He's always anxious with the residual mouthful of substrate. We only just started doing in-tank feedings a few weeks ago, so it's still a bit disconcerting.
