I had no idea the varieties! My favorites are the:

Ornate Wood Turtle
Eastern Painted Turtle
Golden Greek Turtle
and Russian Tortise

PLEASE GET CB if you get a turtle as any other type contributes to diminishing their numbers in the wild!! For many turtles one of their biggest threats is the pet trade :(

I just bought a Golden Greek Turtle at the San Diego show. Turtles are not cheap.
