Yup. That's what I came home to. ExoTerra Monsoon RS400 was set to go off for 30 seconds every 6 hours or so, but apparently decided to just be cool and empty itself into the tank. What makes this all even better is that today was a feeding day, and I didn't handle her yesterday as such, figuring it might stress her out for today. Probably not as much as having an inch of water in her tank, though.

I'm seriously ready to kill somebody at that company. EVERY water-related product they manufacture is absolutely awful.

I think the snake is fine, she's hanging out high and dry on some driftwood. Now I gotta clean all this up.

Anybody recommend a different high pressure mister? lol.

As an aside, does anybody else find it hilarious that exoterra.com is "The Inter-Planetary Relocation Company"? Discovering that is the only up-side to this.

Yeah, that's a typical issue according to the Amazon reviews. The water from the refill spout gets into the electronics and messes it up. It can be solved with a timer, like what mistking sells.

Impressively, this thing worked for over 2 weeks! That's a solid week more than any other water based exo-terra product I've purchased more complicated than a bowl.

It kinda blows my mind they're owned by Hagen. Hagen makes some good aquarium products, you'd figure they'd know how to combine electronics and water.

Mistking for the win. I've been running an "ultimate value" package with a total of 10 nozzles for a couple years and absolutely love it.

Sorry about your problems with ExoTerra :( I never use anything from them except their cages, which I love.

Def gonna get a mistkings system.

On the bright side, maybe I should thank exoterra. After all this water my girl's last eye cap from her shed fell off. Haha.

Yep, Mistking is the best out there for sure. Currently running 11 Uroplatus off of mine and it works flawlessly. They will not let you down at all.
