    Advice for my next pair
I really want an Albino. Since I'd love to be able to breed it eventually I'm obviously going to need something to breed it with, so I was thinking of getting a het albino at the same time to keep the price down. I'm wondering a couple of thing:

How much will I actually save getting the pair instead of purchasing them separately?
Is there any reason to get 1.0 Albino, 0.1 Het Albino, or vice versa, besides...
Will I save a lot of money getting a 0.1 Albino/1.0 Het Albino?

If you were looking at something like a lavender albino or a clown, then yes you'd be saving a fair bit of cash by going with the hets. For regular albino, there's not much savings. When you consider what you're going to spend in food, heating, time etc. it makes more sense (to me) to just get the visuals instead of one het if you can afford it. If not, then it may be very slightly cheaper to get the female het rather than the male het. You might also save some by getting them as a pair, it never hurts to ask!
