More news on the infamous CORN PYTHON!!
Breaking news! I got word from a customer that cornsnakes actually MORPH into the corn python!! Only kidding...:P I just had to post this tho.. (true story) A customer comes into the shop and asks to see one of the cornsnakes we have. While we are discussing how friendly he is, the customer asks how big itll get. I tell him, and then he looks over at the baby BP we have, and says, they get as big as that guy, right? Cornsnakes turn into pythons, right? In my mind, Im .. trying to imagine a juvenile corn making his little "snakeskin" cocoon, and emerging as.....THE CORN PYTHON!! Alas, I had to inform the customer in a very friendly and understanding way that cornsnakes are CORNSNAKES and ball pythons are BALL PYTHONS....and that the two are distinctly different species. Alas, I shall now go search for some rabbits and canned yams....

yeah, I had a lady come in the store one time who INSISTED her BOA laid eggs.....I tried to even show her pictures in a boa book....I had to end it and just politely say "whatever you say, lady"......
Re: More news on the infamous CORN PYTHON!!
I think this person may have been unclear in speaking and asking comparatively if it would get as big as the ball.
In which case, they were still off with the corm likely ending up longer but thinner and lower mass.
But, ballpark to a rookie it is still kinda close, not like comparing an African House Snake and a Burmese.

No. He specifically said he thought cornsnakes were baby pythons, after I told him the scoop on the two different species.

Oh, wow.
I stand corrected.
I honestly thought it would just be someone having trouble conveying their comparison.
Well if you find and shape-shifting corns, could you mail me some that turn into carpets pythons or maybe false water cobras?
