    Considering a Rosy Boa
    Hey there!
I'm currently looking for some tips on getting a Rosy Boa.
For one, the only petstore around here who even sells Rosies is Petsmart, but they're animals are always underkept and I don't like buying from them because they abuse their animals in my opinion.
So I'm wondering if anyone knows any reliable rosy boa breeders.
Also what is the best substrate? I know they like to burrow. The main problem for me is I have an allergy to aspen shavings (it's why I keep reptiles :<) but I do have some Reptimulch and Reptimoss. Is sand any good for them?
I'm not looking for any morphs, anything under 150 would be nice. I have plenty of terrariums to choose from.
I looked at care sheets and they weren't specific enough for me, I love having happy and healthy pets and I make it a point to put in their cage what is best for them.
Any tips would be appreciated, and anything that clears these things up for me would be loved :)

Chanting... Do it, do it, do it! Go to ancientdna.com. Or, something close to that, or search... John Columbus! Dude's awesome! Tell him I sent ya ;)

Rosy's are absolutely worth having around! Come back and post pics of your pickup when/if you get it done! ;)

Well, he did say to do a search for John Columbus. A 20 second search on google and I came up with his website for Jersey Shore Rosies: http://www.rosyboas.to/

I've heard of John too and he's one of the top guys for Rosies. Sometimes, google is your best friend......... :gj:
