update on sick BP...if anyone cares...
Definitely an RI....mouth and oral cavity was grey and blanched looking in color...xray showed congested left lung....culture and lung wash would have added $350 to the bill (which ended up being 100$)...so we are holding off on the anaerobic culture and lung wash as a last resort if things get worse...I can also run a bacterial culture in my Uni's micro lab so i might just go ahead and do that anyways....now just waiting on the vet to call in the prescription to the local vet/pet ER for me.

No fun regardless, at least the vet is allowing you to admin the shots, instead of making you do an office visit for each one. Hang in there and wishing the best for the lil girl.

Oh poor baby. She is lucky to have a caring owner who will pay a vet visit. I know shots stink, but that is the way to go. I hope she improves quickly!

Awww that's rough, I hope she pulls through. Honestly, I've done both oral and injection meds, and injections actually seem a lot easier and less stressful on the snake, though neither is "fun." Keep your heat bumped up a bit.

Also, not trying to be a jerk here, but this may be one of the most passive aggressive thread titles I've seen in at least the last week lol. We care lol jeeze! :D

LOL sorry wasn't my intent to be passive aggressive at all....school related stresses might have seeped in there....

yeah I'm glad the vet is letting me admin the shots...i'm thinking it might have to do with me going for prepping for a herp/dvm or public health masters...or that ive been giving myself shots since i was 15 for allergies...i dunno lol....I'd rather shots than having to do oral syringes...
