    Cheap Two-Gener's
    Hey!

So we're looking to pick up hopefully a two-gene male eventually, and I was wondering A) What everyone's favorite two-gene critters are, and B) What two-gene ones you can think of that are under about $400-500. Love to hear everyone's input! Right now I've basically got Lemonblast, Bumblebee, Jigsaw, and possibly if I look hard a KingPin. Thanks!

    PS:

I love Pin Combos especially! :~D

You could probably find a young FireFly for about that price..I just saw a proven breeder for 750 on KS-for 500 it may not be the best example, but i'm sure you could find one.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm also looking to grab a young male, preferably a 2013 once they start popping up, since my girls (I'm very new haha) won't be up to snuff until the 2014 season, likely. Thankfully it puts some morphs into my price range that wouldn't be if they were older!

You could go with a bumblebee or a pewter. Or maybe a pastave

I love black pewter personally. I hate the idea of planning out what to get though. Just keep your eyes on what's out there, and the right animal at the right price will show up!

THIS. I'm about to get a mojave girl ( should come out the egg tomorrow :) ) and I've been freaking out about what to pair with her, but you just gotta decide when you are going to get when you're ready to get it. It's soooo hard to plan on what you're going to get for the future when it comes to ball python morphs :D

I started a thread on this very subject a while back that has a ton of $500 or less options.

Buy female. No reason for a male if your current females are not close to breeding size. Get a pastel lesser, jigsaw, MAYBE if you look a 2013 kingpin, or lemonblast. When your females are up to size look for a male. They will be cheaper in a year or two.

I recently picked up a pastel yellow belly male for $235. Hoping to hit some bumble bellies!
