Ok, well I was looking at different types of snakes over the internet when I saw some pictures of a Green tree Python, now, i've set a goal for myself! I'm going to someday own a Green Tree Python, no matter what it takes. So, I've decided to slowly work my way up from easy- to -care-for snakes, to a GTP. And yes, I am still going to get a bp.

I wanted to get one until the I went to the last reptile show. The breeder told me that they look cool, and thats about it- most of them never calm down and have a very nippy temperment. The only time he said that he was even able to pick it up was when he'd catch it on the floor of its enclosure, and just by chance. Not very interative, but surely intriguing.

Yeah, I've also heard they're very nippy, but I'dlike to have them as a display animal.

Well first to "first time herp" It is always a great thing when you set goals , even better when you attain those goals.
Next As an owner/keeper of 13 of these beautiful creatures I will say they are not all nippy or savage monsters they all have their own personality out of mine I only have to watch one or two of them they do have a strong feeding responce but once they figure out you dont have a rat they calm down quite quickly
