    Morph Recommendations?
Hi there, everybody! This is actually my first post here on BP.net, I just registered hoping to get some extra insight on Ball Pythons. I currently only have 1 bearded dragon, and I'm looking to add an addition to the family. Anyway, I've been doing my research, and in doing so, I've learned how many morphs are out there, and I can't decide what I want! The normal ones are beautiful, but I think I'd like something more unique. My beardie is a normal morph and I regret not getting something more exotic now (even though she's a total sweetheart :)). Anyway, I think I'd like a darker morph, maybe mianly black along with another color - yellow, white, whatever. I'm also looking for a morph that isn't gonna be catastrophic on my wallet. While I realize that this is a decent sized investment, I heard some morphs can run thousands of dollars per snake, and I simply don't have that kind of money to spend.

I realize I'm being extremely broad in these requests, and for that I apologize. But could somebody give me a few morphs that would be pretty easy to find that I could look for that wouldn't run all too much more than a normal BP? Again, I realize I'm being extremely broad, but I appreciate all the help, everybody. :)

Baby males ~$150 (or cheaper), females ~$200+

Other cheaper single gene morphs (baby males will always be cheaper than males with size or females):

Cinnamons are also a darker morph that has lots of nice chocolate tones.
Mojaves are darker IMO and some have high yellows and some have high whites (flames)
Het Red Axanthics are usually darker with a cool look, almost normal-like but at the same time very unique

I agree. That would be a good start toward breeding later on.

Thanks for the replies, everybody! I really like some of the snakes in the pictures, and I'll have to consider how much I want to spend based on whether or not I'll want to breed in the future. I appreciate all the help so far. Just a question - do any morphs actually have different temperament than others? Or is a ball python basically a ball python?
