    blood on rat after strike
I sore for the second time that when feeding my bp he left blood on the mouse.
I recently changed him from medium mice to a rat fluff for the extra nutrition and noticed after he hit and the let go to feed there was blood on the mouse around where hes teeth must have struck. I never had this happen with the mice. Is just a small amount. No blood in his mouth I can see when u yawns in my direction.
R rats killed diff and it's the rats blood from the teeth penetrating the skin or is it more likely a small sign of mouth rot.

The blood is normal. All animals have blood, so when the rat is bitten by the snake, naturally, it bleeds. It just depends how hard the snake strikes whether their teeth penetrate the rodent's hide. Most of the time, My snake's mice bleed when she strikes at them.
