when people no longer have time for you..
I have an issue, and it really hurts. I have a friend who seems to never have time for me anymore. We used to do a lot together, and this is really hurting me. At last count, I had messaged this person saying that we needed to hang out soon, and got no reply. It's been a few days, and I know that it is not a phone/technical issue.

I won't lie; I am hurting. I know that I should probably voice my concerns to them, but it'll just turn into whatever I have done wrong, and why I am a bad person, probably. I don't see it.. I work a job and own part of a business, and have art and other things that make me busy, but I still find time for my friends. I have never been one to have a ton of acquaintences, although I have a bunch of people who are there if I start up a chat or wanted to meet for coffee; I am not a loner who hides in the house all of the time! I do have my hubby, and a few close friends who are family too, so I am not totally isolated; this still hurts.

I am just venting and looking for any ideas or sympathy or whatnot. Because this is hurting me almost as much as a breakup of a serious relationship. I have to go eat ice cream; brb.

Honestly I'd cut my losses and move on. If they don't want to put any effort in then IMO they're not worth it: regardless of how long you've been friends or the experiences you've had together. If they've decided they don't want to spend time with you or be in your life then you can't do much to change their mind IMO.

Or maybe there's a lot of things going on and they're busy?
