I'm trying to figure out what snakes I would like to add this year. Here is what I have:

    1.0 Pied
1.0 Pastel Het Red Ax Het Hypo
    1.0 Pewter
    1.0 Spider
    1.0 Calico

    0.1 Normal
    0.1 Het Pied
    0.1 Dinker
    0.1 Pastel
    0.1 Butter Het Hypo
    0.1 Bumblebee
    0.1 Yellow Belly
    0.1 Cinnamon

I know I am going to add a male mochi this year and I'm hoping to add a female pastel HRA from a clutch I'm hatching.

Here's where brains come in. I love het red/red ax stuff so I want to gear up my collection for that. I could hold back any females that I make from my pastel HRA X normal clutch.

There will be some proven breeder HRA coming for sale after they lay from another breeder close to me.

The problem I'm having is I also wanted to pick up a butter fire female, but the finances this year won't really allow for me to get the butter fire AND the proven het red female.

Do I save whatever females that come out of my HRA clutch to grow up and buy a butter fire? Or buy the proven HRA girl and jump start my HRA projects for next year?

Sorry there are so may words. Thanks for the help!

buy the proven HRA girl and a fire male to put to your butter female. fire males are not expensive.

or just the HRA and get the butter/fire next year when you sell off some babies.

Just looking at what you got, id definitely add some fire in there somehow. It'd blend in nicely imo.
