last lock before eggs????

This girl is looking huge today, I'm thinking that after this round there will be no more interest in the male (Not that I'd mind her getting even bigger and giving me a huge clutch)...Then again, this is my first season so I have no idea how she looks when she ovy's.

Quick question, they stop locking after ovy, no? I mean I'm sure they can lock as many times as they want for as long as they want, but on a typical basis do they continue to lock during/after an ovy?

Can't express my excitement nearly as much as I'd like to :)

I don't believe any of mine have locked after they ovulated. I have had one eat all the way up to laying. I have had them lock the day of ovulating. They were locked, noticed the male by himself 6 hours later, and there she was ovulating.

Mine won't lock wen female is ovulating and afterwards :). Some don't even lock like a week prior to ovy :).
I guess it all depends from a snake :).
