Baby fire I shipped is lost, what do I do!
It's my worst nightmare. The baby fire I send to Andrew last night is now lost in transit. He's been on the phone with them for hours, with no results. I am just sick. Someone please tell me what to do. Tell me something like this has happened before and everything was fine. Tell me I'm going to survive this. OH please, someone tell me what to do, I can't stand the thought of something happening to her.

Taking a deep breath and accepting the fact that there's nothing you can really do right now would be an excellent start.

And have some faith in your packing job. She'll be fine. :gj:

Did you ship FedEx? This happened to me once with FedEx. The label got torn off the box. They have a place where they send undeliverable packages, I think it's in Indianapolis. If you describe the box they might be able to find it. That's what happened with me.

I've had a snake lost in transit once before, and after worrying for 24 hours mainly due to the extreme temperatures it was facing, everything ended up being just fine. Snakes are sturdy creatures, as long as you packed the fire well, rely on your packing, trust fedex to pick up the slack in finding the package, and see what happens. It's not a common instance to run into, but its not unheard of by anymeans. These things happen, just hang in there!

    I hate to see this.

I'm hoping they find it and get it there safe. We need small GPS tags for shipping.

It has been a stressful day! They called me back and said they have found the package. They said it should be here by 10 am tomorrow. Trust me I was PISSED and they knew it too. I did whatever I could to try to get them to push it through today (trying to keep an optimistic attitude) but they insisted it would not reach its destination today. All we can do now is wait and see what tomorrow brings and just keep a positive mindset. I will keep everybody posted on the matter.

Just think of some of the horrid conditions we have seen snakes live in day after day and still survive, I'm sure she will be just fine tucked away in her cozy box. :)

I had two delayed packages this winter. Both were stuck in Indy and were delivered the following day. Both snakes were totally fine and the 40hr heat packs were still warm when delivered. I hope that makes you both sleep a little better tonight.
