    Calico Pastel
Just put down a payment on a new girl! I was inquiring from Dan Wolfe about Calico Pastels he was working with as he had 5.2 available and works with some really nice lines genetics-wise. It turned out that he decided to offer his hold back female from last season along with the other 2 available and after seeing her compared to the other two I had to snatch her up with a quickness :D She's also the heaviest out of the other two at 415+ grams!

Not the highest white on her but I'm loving her colors, washed out pattern and semi blackback-ness she has goin' on. I am hoping to clean and lighten the pattern a lot and hopefully get a lot more oranges/yellows in there when I pair her to my male fire or possibly a super fire, firefly, black fire or black pastel firefly if I'm patient(and lucky) enough!

    She's fantastic Ryan!
I love her blushing. And her partial whites are a good contrast to her yellows. :)

Thanks Nikki! Any updates on how those rat babies are coming along, it'll take 3-4 weeks til they're weened anyways right?

Awesome looking snake. In this case I would actually prefer it more mid white to give that contrast from black back to yellow to white. The really high white ones are nice too, but sometimes it is nice to see the contrast and let the Pastel part have room to do its thing.

Oh man! She is a stunner! I have a tendency to glance down at the pics before I read the text and the first person that came to mind was Dan. His calicos are stunning and they each have a certain look to them that screams "Dan Wolfe created me!" :P Then I read the text :D

They're doing well. The first litter is already weaned and ready to go. The rex litter hasn't been born yet.
