    First fast is OVER!
Well although I know it is normal for balls to go off feed it didn't make it any easier. I am so happy this hunger strike is over. Her last meal was Dec. 25 th.

Still waiting on mine. He snapped out of it at one point and took three meals in a row, the last one nearly two months ago now. Always hoping for next week. Hit 70 degrees today for the first time this year... I've had my first snake for about 10 months now, and I love him, but he sure is boring when he isn't eating!

It can be challenging when they are off feed. I still handle outs if she isn't feeding. I tried leaving her alone but it doesn't make a difference with her so I just continue now as usual and let her eat when she wants. It is crazy how much of difference it was this week. She came out and I knew from her body she was going to nail it. No question she was going to eat.

My normal finally decided to eat this weekend. I was cleaning the cage of the uneaten mouse that's been living with me and put it in the snake's cage for a few moments half to see if he'd take it, half just to put the mouse somewhere. He snatched it right up. Bought a medium rat an hour later and he ate that too! He's 1600g and 52" long at 2-3ish years old, and tends to get really fat in the summer. This was his first fast and he lasted October through march on one 90g rat.

Now to just get my albino to eat. He started fasting in January, but the warm weather has me hopeful. He's only 810g, and a bit thin, but has only lost 25g in two months.
