    hello,

    i am contemplating either getting a Solomon Island Boa or an African House Snake

    i dont know which one i should get, i wish i could get both, but my parents would probably never let that happen

    so, which one do y'all think i should get?

    Definately house snakes! Easy to care for, not real big (I'd get a female as they are a big bigger) active, and there are available color morphs (albino, red, red lace, olive) you can find some pics here at http://www.cherryvillereptiles.com/misc.html

    I'd get an African House because they are easy to house, easy to get feeding, easy to handle, and because they don't take up much room and such you can always add bigger snakes to your collection later in life, plus Af House's look more like pythons than any other colubrid IMO. Plus they are active and fun to watch from what I have read/been told. I'd go Af House all the way :)
