If i crumple up some newspaper and put it in my snakes cage will it have any negative effect on it? im talking like will the ink do anything to it if the snake comes in contact with it? mold growing maybe? when i mist the tank i plan on switching out the newspaper. any input? thanks

If you've got a glass cage then get a couple extra hides/logs(baked in oven for safety)/greenery bushes from hobby lobby. All these things fill space and create shadows. Good for a secure BP.

yeah i have the 2 hides and have some fake plants hanging from suction cups. my pastel is always in his cold side hide and i was thinking it may be because of the glass tank so i crumpled up some newspaper and put them in there. im running to staples tonight to get black construction paper to tape on the outside of the tank so it doesnt have the fish bowl affect. maybe this will make him feel more secure
