Can you suggest some good reading material on retics. I really want one and have been doing research online over the past few years but would love to hear from you guys what books are best. Thanks in advance.

I have not found too many books that contain valuable enough information on retics to truly suggest you pick up. There are some old classics like "Giant Snakes" which touches base on some decent points but it is simply too far outdated. If you are wanting husbandry information, most general care sheets from reputable people will provide proper enough information. If you are wanting detailed information on natural history go read all the scholar papers presented here at this link:

Especially the very first one (2002). It gives you a lot of information in regards to what makes certain locales the way they are and what time expect when you see listings named under stuff like "Jampea" or "Kaydui". You can also feel free to ask questions here, shoot me a PM, or join some of the dedicated groups out there like The Retic Nation.

    Cheers, and good luck!
