    Newly morphed thumbnail froglet
Got a few pictures of my newly morphed Ranitomeya imitator "intermedius" that came out of the water a few days ago and a sibling that is in the process of absorbing it's tail. To have a size reference, they can sit inside an Iphone home button.

The first appendage to show is the back legs. They start out very small and grow with the tadpole. Then the tadpole will start to get a faint pattern and you will be able to see little lumps where the arms are developing under the skin in a specialized pocket. One day, the arms will pop out from the pockets and the tadpole will no longer continue to eat as it begins to absorb its tail to get ready to transition to land.

These little guys are by far my favorite thumbnail.
