Dorm life!
As I'm going to become a college freshman this year, I was wondering how everyone liked their dorm life? What was your favorite/least favorite moment? Or did you just not like it at all?
Also, I'm thinking about bringing a T into the dorm with me, then again I'd chicken out because I'd be scared to get caught haha.

Is the T worth losing out on your education and getting in trouble?
Yes. Yes it is.

No experience with dorm life.
You can't get in trouble if you keep your T out of sight. An RA cannot uncover anything in the room. If its not out in plain sight, they won't find it. Also, a lot of schools allow small caged pets anyways.

Actually, it wouldn't make you lose out on education, it would just be a 'slap on the wrist' from what I heard, but I just don't like getting on the bad side of people. That's the only thing daunting on my thoughts about doing it haha.

The worst thing about living on campus was having to deal with other people's noises, yelling, music, etc. I bought an expensive pair of headphones and some earplugs to deal with it. I didn't have a room-mate, but I'm sure there's bad stuff associated with that.
The best thing was that your friends will be right down the hall. Before I moved off-campus, I didn't realize how much I would miss being able to go hang out with someone just by walking up a flight of stairs. The main reason I moved off-campus was so that I could have my cat, who was really old at the time, because I was afraid she'd pass away while I was gone. In the end, she survived for another 5 years, so...yeah. I don't regret it though, :)
My school had a policy of you could only have critters that you could hold under water for 10 minutes and it still live! :D However, my group of friends were all animal lovers and creative, so two of my friends had rats and ferrets, while I had 2 hamsters and 2 rats in my room. I lived in a single, so I used the extra dresser to hold their cages, and anytime I left my room, even if it was just to go to the bathroom, I closed the drawers, just in case there was a surprise fire drill.
