    Is this guy small????
Ok guy's and gal's, I am having somewhat of a debate whether this guy is small or not and being fed properly. It is a ball that someone has for sale on a reptile group on facebook that I am part of. To me he looks too small for his age and I just wanna know if I am wrong in saying so. I do not know the sex but it is 1 and a half years old. Eats on juvy rat every 10-14 days.

Some snakes are naturally thinner it seems.
Like my girl seems thinner than others, even with feeding weekly.
Many people here will probably say you should feed him more often, but 10-14 days is okay..

As long as he is healthy, he'll just grow slower.

    Is that a 10 gal?
My year and a half male is roughly 2-1/2 feet

This is the only pic that was posted! I just think that its head should not be almost the size of its body at that age. Also they said in th post it would need to be fed more as it got older! Is that not the opposite? i would think once a week while its young, then adult yo can give one large meal every 10-14 days?

I feed babies/sub-adults more frequently than the adults: ~5 days for the smaller guys and 7 days for adults (when they're not off feed).

This is also the same I go by. A growing snake is gonna need more nutrients to keep t nice and healthy NO?

he looks ok from what I can see in the pic. what do you think about this girl (normal) that pastel clown male is breeding size just to compare her size too. she's in a cb70 tub and she's touching the back of the tub and the water bowl is at the very front. she's over 5000 grams.

I think he looks fine, bps just grow in different ways, although feeding him every five days would be a good move. For instance, my girl, who is being fed every 5-6 days is currently growing faster length wise and doesn't appear as plump as a 7 month old female should be. However, she is already over 3 feet.

That snake looks fine to me. Not small at all for a yearling.

Maybe an overhead shot would help but from those pics it looks like a healthy size to me
