Handling Session

Last night I had a different type of handling session with my bp.
Now before I go into it I don't want you guys to think I started my holiday weekend early tipping the bottle, well at least not at that point last night.
Took Ozzy out sat him down on my son's weight bench as usual on one of my son's shirts. Turned around to close the lid on his cage and it was like he was trying to get my attention and wanted me to come over and pick him up. So I was gonna try the bath thing with him last night so before into the water I misted him with some room temp spray ( 82 degrees) and he just took off and came alive so to speak. He was like a kid in a sprinkler havin a ball. And he keep trying to climb up on me to play and crawl around. Kinda freaked me out because it's been a long long road with him and handling and gettin him so he is not stressed when out.
So we did take off in to the tub ( just the snake ) He seem to like it for about a min. then he was ready to go and explore every where else. But he really seemed to want to hang on me and wanted me playing with him rather than exploring on his own.
Anyone else ever had there bp like this. Reminded me of my cat wanting attention. I didnt think snakes would associate like that.
That was the reason for the not drinking disclaimer. I didn't want you guys to think I was "tripping"
Oh and side bar... Ever put your snake up to the mirror and let them see themsleves?

I've done the mirror thing, it's kinda funny. When I take Soph out, she never wants to go back in. We'll lay on my bed and she'll get a grip around my hand and hang out as long as I let her. Sometimes she wants to explore (always in my hair for some reason), but usually she'll just hang out w/me.

Both of my ball pythons like many others are very inquisitive. I know Jojo has a preference to be with me as suppose to being in the cage. He will often come out of his hide and climb the walls when he wants to be let out. Its amazing how these animals have their own individual personalities.

Whew, glad to see I wasn't just losing my mind and they really do show personalities.
I just love that little guy, he is so much fun and so cool to watch him grow and learn to trust me.
Good I can continue to drink :) I thought maybe I was gonna have to lay off a while. ( just kidding)
