    I got a new camera recently so i thought I'd do a few weigh-ins and close ups!

    1st off nice looking snakes!! 2nd where can i get that kind of scale? and 3rd why do you weigh them in a bowl, doesnt it give added weight?

    The bowl helps contain them a few moments longer. :) You tare (zero out) the scale with the bowl on it, and then add the snake to get its weight.

    oh okay that makes sense!! i didnt know you could do that, any idea where i can get a snake scale from??

    You can use any kitchen scale from Target, walmart, etc. as long as it measures in grams up to 5000g. I bought this one and I love it: http://www.reptilebasics.com/my-weigh-7001dx

    What everyone else said is correct about zeroing the weight and containing. This is the exact one I have and the location I got it from!
