    help please
About 3 weeks ago i got a rat that was a little to big for my 400g ball python loki. Since he had that rat he wont eat at all....i know ball pythons do this when they get older and bigger for weeks and or months at a time but he is only 7 months old at 400g. He is not acting different, i might just be freaking out....if you need more info ask away. If you think i'm freaking out tell me lol.

He probably just isn't hungry yet. When did he last defecate? Maybe he needs to make some room, first. ;)

That's what i thought also but he took a big poop about a week ago. I thought he would eat after but nope. He is in shed right now so made after he pulls his old skin off and poops again he will want to eat. If he doesn't eat with in the next two weeks should i take him to the vet?

Was the 400g weight before his big meal? If so, I'd just compare that to his weight after refusing a couple more weeks. My guess is he'll start back up after shedding, though.

Yeah i just changed his tank also, he had been in a smaller one and i found a new tank with a stand....so that might have something to do with it. I just wanted to ask people that have been around ball pythons, i just got into them 4 months ago...
