Thinking about next year already
If my spider girl is ready late next season I would like to try for some spinner blasts and ultramels. I guess I will need a male bumble bee right? But how do you make an ultramel?
1.1 pastels, 1.0 lesser, 0.1 het blurry, 0.1 spider, 1.1 norm. 0.1 dinker,

spinnerblast - pastel, spider, pinstripe - you would need a a pastel pinstripe male
ultramel - this is a recessive gene so you would need a het male and female at a minimum (unless you want to buy a visual to start off with and create your own hets).

as mentioned, ultramels are simple recessives. you would need a pair of hets, or would have to purchase a visual and breed it out to produce your own hets. I have acquired all of my het/possible het ultramels from either Justin Kobylka (jkobylkareptiles.com) or Jon Courtney (coldbloodedaddiction.com). can't recommend either highly enough. last I checked, Jon still had a visual ultramel available, but I can't recall whether it was a male or female. one of the best recessive projects to get into, in my opinion of course. I'm aiming for pastel yellowbelly ultras by 2014.

I want to get in on that project! I love ultramels!
