Urates vs. feces

I just want to make sure I have this straight as I keep a log for Sophie and want to document 'events' accurately:

urates kinda look like bird poop
feces look, well look more like regular poop...

Also, sometimes it seems like she just urinates (very stinky liquid) w/o the bird poop looking stuff, is this normal?
