Does by BP have RI? (Video)
She makes those sniffing noises at the beginning of the video sometimes (0:00-0:10), but i took her outside for a walk for 10 min and she did it pretty frequently, and also sneezed a couple times. Some people said that these are possibly from her being due to shed soon (she has pink belly) or just because she's stressed. Please watch the vid and let me know! You might needa turn ur volume up cuz its pretty quiet

...outside for a walk? If it's anything less than 80 degrees out, your BP shouldn't be outside pretty much at all. Is she making noise while inhaling and exhaling both, or is it just one or the other? It could be shed as well. What are your temps?

inhaling is like the noise at (0:00-0:10)
exhaling she sometimes does this 'hiss' or sneeze noise, which she did after we came back from the walk outside. she rarely does it though

    temps
    hot- 90-92
    cool 80-84

It's probably just from going into shed, but keep an eye on it. If she starts wheezing or you notice mucus in her mouth (hold her head gently and peel down her bottom lip to check for mucus or bubbles) then you need to get her to a vet for a checkup and a culture.

ive already went to the vet and got baytril. it was shaky cuz the vet said she 'probably' has RI.. there was no mucus in her mouth when i opened it, but after i gave her baytril, i checked again and it was slimy in there. possibly cuz i didn't inject it deep enough and she was coughing it up? i don't wanna give her baytril if she doesn't need it. she's been eating quickly, and regularly if that helps any. after the trip to the vet and all that stress i gave her a live mouse and she killed that thing right away

-her belly has also had a pink tint to it for about 2 1/2 weeks now... is this normal? didn't think the shedding process took that long

Your vet needs to do a culture before prescribing meds. Stop with the baytril and don't start up oral meds again. Snakes metabolize slowly so the oral meds are ineffective. If you're worried, go back and have your vet do a culture.

What are you measuring your temps with? It's possible your hot spot is hotter than it should be and is starting to burn her.

is baytril goin to hurt her? i've only done it twice so far. vet told me to give it to her every other day.

i measure my temps with a thermometer with probe

It's not going to hurt her but it's not going to do her any favors. If she doesn't have an RI, it's unnecessary stress and if she does have an RI she'll benefit more from more specific injected antibiotics.

do you know what those injected antibiotics are called? the vet gave me a choice of oral or needle injected, but she insisted i get the oral for less stress etc

They vary. Baytril is the very most basic antibiotic prescribed for RIs. Without a culture, though, it's hard to say if the infection needs something stronger or different. Injected works better with a snake's slow metabolism than oral meds. I'd call your vet back and ask for a culture to be done.
